I was wondering why we are caroling every year? Shouldn't caroling be an evangelical event? Why do we go caroling at our very own church members' house? Do all the members singing carols are merely just singing or bringing the news over the earth?
But soon, I realized that we sing carol, not to people, but to the angels and God. We sing praises to them, celebrate the birth of Jesus. We sing not only at certain places, but everywhere!
Caroling is an event where the church members spend a lot of their time together to practice and to carol. Caroling at church members' house will enable one another of the church members to open their house and let others to visit, as most of us only meet in the church.
Caroling is more than bringing the good news to people. And indeed, Rev Wee did a very good job by giving out life testimonies CDs by few well known people to the church members so that the guest will know Christ through that.
Yeah, I missed the caroling today as I receive the wrong message. Haha. Anyway, thanks God for it as I can have a good rest and learn more about caroling.
