Knotting and leadership

Knotting... What does knotting get to do with leadership?

To tie a knot, you need to learn how to tie a knot. For example, to tie a Reef-knot, you need a book, picture, teacher or small animated clip to show you how to do it then you follow. But that's not all. Most of the people only learn how to do it, but never know their name; or name it with their own name.

Futhermore, knowing the name is not the end. The most important part of knotting is to know the purpose and the use of the knot. If you know the knot, but you don't know the purpose or the use of it, then how will you apply in your daily life?

Leadership is the same. Most of the time we learn a lot of skills and techniques to lead, but we often tired and fail. When we fail, we desire for directions, just because we don't know the name of the skills or technique of it, we can't refer back, or search nothing of the skills. So, we can't learn and get a reference from it. The worst part is, we often use them for our own good and purpose, but not for the true purpose. So, lost is something that will not seperate from our leadership if we don't really learn the whole thing.

Hmm, so, what's the name of the sign/code that have "_" and "." ? I believe that most of the people know that that's morse code. But why people use morse code? Yeap, that the point. Go search wikepedia then.

Next, what's the name of the sign/code that people use their hand to show alphabeth? Hmm, hand code? You try to go google and search and see, and you'll find nothing! Because it's called sign language. You see, the difference is so much.

Sorry, I just feel very sad because almost all of the leaders in the council are the type of people that I mentioned above, and they are still living with all those cliche for years eventhough one of the young boy had once voice out, but nobody cares about it. =(

How sad the world is.
