Christmas

First of all, I would like to wish you all a blessed christmas.

Christmas, something that seems familiar yet stranger to me. But somehow, the Christmas of year 2009 was different to me. For Christians, we are busy for the season every year. But year 2009 was the most 'relaxing' year for me. I did not actually in-charge of anything, all I do is help.

There's so much things going on and happening lately, I can't even describe what is my feeling now. I was so stressed of my driving test, work, and time. I cried, laugh and smile, all in my heart. I can't tell you why, because I don't know either. So, how different is Christmas 2009 to me?

To me, Christmas 2009 in BWCMC had the most people attending the service as I've seen. As usual, I woke up at 8:40a.m., took a 5 minutes bath and out. I'm not even have the time to look at how nice my new shirt is. Lol. I take initiative by bring my camera and snap some pics for the day. It is the worst event photography I ever had, partly because the gears are not well prepared and I had not 'pak tor'(dating) with it for quite some long time. As you know now, camera need to be pampered, as well as those gears.

The whole service was usual, but we have choir, sharing of testimonies and dances this year. The sharing of testimony by Uncle Steve touches me, it reminded me that our Lord is a gracious and a wonderful God. And in this yet joyful and touching season, let us not forgetting that our Lord Jesus humbly came down from his throne to the world. He took the first and a very brave step to continue the salvation plan, all because of LOVE. I sung the Christmas carols differently, not because of my voice or 'pattern', but I sung through the heart. I wish to thank rbc ministry for publishing a small devotional booklet specially for Christmas, "The Christmas Present". It reminded me and taught me the story behind the story behind Christmas. We all know the story behind the Christmas, but there's so much more to know behind it.

When it came to the thanksgiving part, I was truly touched by the moment. The church uses this season to thank all of the servants of God by giving them a small gift as an appreciation. The appreciation and the word 'thanks' from the church warms us all. Although it was rather simple and plain, but it holds us all together, remembering that we are a church, we are inter-connected. How sweet is that... :)

Of course, let us not forgetting about our Lord Jesus who love us and willingly come to the Earth for us! THANK YOU LORD!

Jesus is the reason for the season!
