Face 2 Face Part-I

Yesterday, I was in-charge of one of the MYF event, Face 2 Face Part-I. It's a challenge to me, as I was facing midterms, and also meetings. I kinda start to brainstorm the day that I know I am in-charging this event, and I started to finalise and prepare the event just few hours before it happens. I thought I am well prepared, who knows this week we got quite a lot of new friends, and my plan couldn't really work. I prepared a hokkien song, but some of them couldn't speak or understand hokkien, so I dropped my plan.

I prayed to God once more, to let Him guide the event in His way, but not my plan. I actually came up with a game at the very last minute, and it works well. =) And the sharing time is awesome, youth from different walks of life share their experiences and how they actually ended to be here.

The working youth:
Carol - shared about how she became a kindergarten teacher.
Sorvine - shared about how she became a clerk and how she managed to juggle between serve and work.
Eng Hong - he's planning to start a business
Mavis - just found a new job recently

The Maktab students from Sarawak:
Liang Ying & Norah - shared about how they came here, and the feeling of leaving home

Nursing school student:
Wong Ling - Haha, she shared about her life in the nursing school, and joking around with her experience. We should talk to her more about her experiences and thoughts, very funny.

College students:
Siang Boon - shared about his working life in mentally-challenged daycare center
Kendrick - shared about his new life in KDU degree
Me - shared about the temptation I faced before the test

Secondary school student:
Joseph - he's facing PMR now, but still very steady

Special one =) :
Zhi Ming - he's now unemployed, and he shared about his life testimony, and also shared about his mother and sister's conflict with christianity

God just lead the whole thing, and most of us enjoy it. Haha, looking forward to Face 2 Face Part-II.
